Program aims at making participant aware of the basic foundry systems, process equipment’s and handling quality problems.
Create awareness about equipment used for grey iron, SG iron/steel foundry; material composition/metallurgy; equipment size, cycle time and capacity; important quality parameters and changeovers. The processes covered will be melting and pouring, core making, sand making and moulding, fettling and finishing. Quality assurance, casting defects, final testing and typical costing.
Participants with 1 to 4 years of experience in Foundry industry, foundry commodity, vendors supplying foundry parts.
