Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis (PFMEA)

Overview

PFMEA is an intense program designed for engineers and managers associated with manufacturing shop floor QA, Supplier development, product development and support functions. This program will help participants to identify failure modes in the processes and come up with actions to reduce risk associated with these failures.

Objectives

The program aims to develop competence in identifying failure modes in the processes and come up with actions to reduce risk associated with these failures.

Course Contents

Process flow diagram, symbols used in process flow diagram, product characteristics, process characteristics, incoming sources of variations, severity rating, occurrence rating, detection rating, risk priority number, control plan.

    Engineers/Diploma holders, with minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing, QA, Supplier development, product development and support functions.
