Statistical process control and measurement system analysis is an application oriented program designed for Engineers and Managers associated with manufacturing shop floor QA, Supplier development, product development and support functions. This program will help participants in applying statistical control charts for better process control and reduce variability in the process.
The program aims to develop competence in application of different types of control charts for better Process control and reduce process variability.
Basic statistics, SPC foundation, Details of X Bar R Charts and IMR Charts with application, Process capability indices (Cp, CPk, Pp, PPk), Measurement system analysis, basic terms in measurement (Bias, linearity, stability, repeatability, reproducibility), Gage R&R study, Attribute agreement analysis, Visual inspection study.
Participants are required to apply control charts in their workplace for critical process parameters and show improvements in these parameters through a project.
Engineers/Diploma holders, with minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing, QA, Supplier development, product development and support functions.
