Essentials of Quality Management

A comprehensive program for junior managers, imparting knowledge in Quality Management (QM) concepts, problem solving methodology and advanced quality tools. It also enables the application of these principles and tools in respective sections/departments for meeting PQCDSM targets.

To develop and impart comprehensive Quality Management concepts, problem solving tools and statistical techniques for the junior management.

• Basic Quality Concept - Principles & Practices of QM, Internal customer concept, Overview of 7 QC tools, poka yoke,
• Problem Solving Perspective - QC Story Approach + Case study sharing, DCP - PFD, PFMEA, Control Plan.
• Stastical process control: Need of MSA and SPC, Basic statistics, MSA, Control chart (X-bar & R chart). Process capability indices (Cp & Cpk), Process performance indices (Pp & Ppk)

After the completion of the program, participants are assigned a QC Story project within their function. Post-program support will be provided by MIQ to assist participants in applying their learnings.
