Systematic Problem Solving

Overview

Enables participants to systematically use Quality Control (QC) Tools & Techniques to solve problems and effect improvements on a continual basis. After the completion of this program, participants become eligible for the next advanced level program, i.e. Mahindra Green Belt.

Objectives

To develop competence in Systematic Problem Solving using QC Story approach and QC Tools.
Promote use of basic QC Tools & Techniques in solving problems.
Develop a pool of officers proficient in the application of Statistical Tools & Techniques.

Course Contents
  • Fundamentals of Quality Management (QM) and TQM, PDCA approach.
  • Role of engineers/executives in QM.
  • Basic 7 QC Tools and QC Story approach.
  • Additional Tools – Cause Analysis Table, paired comparison.
  • Project Identification.
  • Sharing of successful Mahindra Yellow Belt projects.
Post-Program Assignment

After the completion of the program, participants are required to lead and complete a QC Story project at their work place. Post-program support will be provided by MIQ to assist participants in applying their learnings.

  • Eligibility

    Executives with minimum 2 years of experience in Operations, Quality or any support function.
